Linda Stallings
Owner/Trainer

Linda Stallings, the owner of Chesapeake Dog Training, has over 25-years of experience in the animal behavior industry, and has worked closely with some amazing trainers. She is compassionate, patient, and has a unique way of connecting with people, putting owners and dogs at ease as she skillfully guides the learning process. With her award-winning background in animal behavior, her dog training skills, and positive personality - lessons with Linda are transformational, interesting, and fun!

 

In 1998, Linda began her 12-year stretch at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, where she cared for and trained rhinos, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, gazelle, giraffes, lions, and leopards. She was also an Area Supervisor, Operations Manager, and founded a number of programs, including the Behavior and Training team. In addition, Linda, worked as a keeper at Disney’s Animal Kingdom where she focused on animal behavior and medical care, completed animal training methods coursework, and helped educate the public about animal husbandry, training, and nutrition. Her success and respect in the industry has earned her opportunities to speak at regional and national conferences, publish writings in various industry journals, and appear on the National Geographic and Discovery Channel.

 

Linda and her family reside in the Eastport neighborhood of Annapolis and serve many clients from the area.  She is committed to taking the best care of dogs possible and treats all boarders as if they were her own dog.  Linda is passionate about connecting people and dogs through training to ensure the best quality of life for all members of the family pack!

Linda is available for private lessons, group classes, and managing socialization sessions.  Linda does it all - and as the owner of CDT is often working tirelessly on all the important behind-the-scenes tasks that keep us afloat!
